THE GENESIS OF THE LMJ GROUP
The sixties saw the inception of LMJ Group, when Mr. Madan Lal Jain, a first generation entrepreneur laid the foundation as a Tea Trading Company.
In the early eighties, the second generation continued to strive for newer heights and widened base under the able guidance of Mr. Madan Lal Jain.
They enabled the company to realize its potential in the global arena and upgraded LMJ to a Limited Company with focus on export of agro-commodities.
In a span of just 15 years, LMJ achieved immense heights and was proud of its success in its chosen field of exports of Agro commodities under the flagship of LMJ International Limited. It became one of the largest exporters of agro commodities with all the possible agro products in its basket with its connections spreading far and wide.
The company saw an added feather in its cap with logistics business becoming a very eminent addition to its scope of work. Logistics business saw a humble beginning with Tata Chemical Ltd. as its first client. But there was no looking back and the number of clients went on increasing on a pan India basis starting from Kolkata and spreading to Delhi, Jodhpur, Ludhiana, Faridabad and many more destinations with clients like Tata Motors, Jindal Steel, Usha Martin Ltd, SAIL in its long list of premium clients.
